Alcuni dei suoi lavori quali Pietre Oniriche, Astrolabium, Sospiro del Cosmo, Dono di Nettuno e Motore del Tempo simboleggiano i passaggi fondamentali di questo periodo.<br \/>Le domande che Nagatani si pone sono: Da dove veniamo? Dove siamo? Dove stiamo andando? La risposta \u00e8 un viaggio che attraversa percorsi e trova forme differenti, ma che \u00e8 sempre coerente con la stessa urgenza di comprendere la nostra posizione sulla terra. L\u2019artista cerca di avvicinarsi al meglio, senza pretendere la perfezione, provando piacere e non dolore, ma godendo della completezza, frutto di compenetrazione tra ombra e luce. Nagatani ritiene sia questa la verit\u00e0, ci\u00f2 che collega le parti. Il rigore del paese d\u2019origine viene stemperato, ma non troppo, mentre la tipica severit\u00e0 lombarda riceve un impulso ricco di eleganza e stile. Se dobbiamo cercare un termine che sintetizzi l\u2019opera di Kyoji Nagatani potremmo sicuramente adottare appunto il termine Stile. Un\u2019opera d\u2019arte \u00e8 sempre un oggetto magico al quale l\u2019artista trasmette la capacit\u00e0 di renderci affascinati da un arcobaleno di emozioni altrimenti impossibili da percepire e la scultura, essendo tridimensionale e palpabile fisicamente attraverso il tatto, oltre che con gli occhi ci permette di sentire anche con le mani, toccandola.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Luca Temolo Dall&#8217;Igna<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proseguendo il suo percorso personale potremmo identificare l\u2019esperienza di Nagatani con quella tecnica che in Giappone viene chiamata \u201ckintsugi\u201d ovvero l\u2019arte di riparare i cocci con l\u2019oro, con l\u2019argento liquido o con lacca e polvere d\u2019oro, evidenziando le fratture invece di nasconderle, per creare un oggetto nuovo, rinato, a volte ancor pi\u00f9 ricco e importante.<br \/>Ecco questo ha fatto Kyoji Nagatani metaforicamente quando, frantumando la sua vita nel paese natale, si \u00e8 trasferito per la prima volta in Italia. Lentamente, ma incessantemente, ha ricostruito se stesso pezzo a pezzo, riempiendo le fessure tra i cocci con l\u2019oro raccolto nel nostro paese, fatto d\u2019arte e di persone di una variet\u00e0 infinita, costruendo in s\u00e9 un vaso ricolmo di emozioni.
